No. APEX is open to anyone who can complete the events safely. We have men’s and women’s divisions, and the score normalizes performance against the field — beginners and elite athletes alike get a real number.
There are seven events that test across our four categories: speed, power, strength, and endurance. Each category is worth up to 250 points. The better you perform across each event, the more points you get in each category, and the higher your APEX SCORE.
A competition day generally runs from 8 AM to 1 PM. Your individual flight takes about 1.5–2 hours to complete all 7 events.
Athletic clothing, cleats for the speed and power events, and shoes to lift and run in. We also recommend bringing water and any fuel you might need throughout the competition.
Yes — bring your people. Spectator admission is ticketed, so grab passes for your crew ahead of the event.
