How the score adds up

Each pillar contributes 250 points to your APEX Score. Single-event pillars (Speed, Endurance) score directly; multi-event pillars (Power, Strength) average their components.

Common questions

No. APEX is open to anyone who can complete the events safely. We have men’s and women’s divisions, and the score normalizes performance against the field — beginners and elite athletes alike get a real number.
Each of the 7 events is scored on a 100-point scale against APEX performance standards. Speed and Endurance count once each; Power and Strength average their component events. The four pillar scores combine into a 1,000-point total.
Plan for a half day. Athletes compete in waves throughout the day; you’ll typically run all 7 events in 4–6 hours depending on the venue and field size.
Athletic clothing, indoor and outdoor footwear, and a water bottle. We provide all the equipment.
Yes — bring your people. Most venues are open to spectators free of charge.
